Get the Look Royal Britannia
As the name suggests, this interior design style has a traditional feel and uses large furniture peices and feelings of 1940′s wartime items in a contemporary way. Chose bold but simple patterns inspired by the reworking and re-colouring of classic men’s suiting fabrics e.g. tweed, herringbone and plaids to coordinate a cheerful combinations with upholstered furniture that has patches of appliqué, cushions, throws, lampshades and even wallpaper!
If you’re after a more feminine touch opt for ditsy scattered floral patterns (neats) which reflect tea dress fabrics for bedding, throws, curtains or wallpaper.
